As you may know by now, I'm a defender of Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri work since their gorgeous 2009 S/S collection. Therefore, don't think you'll hear all that "This is not Valentino!" yell. That been said, this collection was all about romance: the lace, the ivory colors (pink, white), the ruffles, the layered gowns,the light fur... Still, there was a hint of modernness about their designs, like an hidden key that unfolds at the models walk... It was well-made and dreamy, but there's still something lacking among those two designers hands, I know they can do better than this. I understand that they had to play it safe after HC " Greek tragedy", but they're more talented than this!
