Crazy over DIY

Sometimes I get this urge of doing my own pieces of clothing... Or, more appropriately, to customize existing pieces of my wardrobe. That said, my mind is craving for all those old garments I want to recycle. Gonna share some of my (want to be) projects:

Tribal printed Pants: These are not truly a DIY project, since I went to a dressmaker with a tribal African hand-made fabric my boyfriend received and told her what I wanted. They will be pretty simple, straight cut pants, unique in the world (at least Occidental, haha). I don't have a pic of the pattern, but it's somehow similar to this one, yellow and blue, with different patterns, more vivid, it's really cute!

Bleached Jeans: Transform some old jeans into a cool bleached and wore version.

Perfect Sandals: Turn my wedge sandals into replicas of Givenchy 2010 SS + Valentino HC S 2010: I know this would be pretty hard, but it's what I want! If I manage to make it, I swear I'll post a tutorial here to share it with everyone! I sooo love these shoes! I'm planing on buying a pastel fabric and customize this asap. Let's see!

Original Wedges (sorry, they're kind of dirty, they've been locked in the dust...)

What I'd like to get:

Petal Clutch: Inspired my a blog I've seen (link bellow) I want to turn this old purse from my aunt I've found in my grandma's house into a whole new (and gorgeous) bag! I've already removed the strap, gotta buy the nude fabrics and get to work! Gotta say that removing the Rocco Barroco metal piece was quite a challenge! I had to use a pliers and everything! ;)

Flower Stockings: I've cut my flowery tights, to get springy stockings to use with skirts and short. Gotta show the result as soon as I wear them!

Denim Shorts: I realize I didn't had a straight fitting denim shorts and when I discover a old pair of jeans in my grandma's house, I decided to crop them. Now, I need ideas how what to do with the bottom and overall look. If you have any suggestions, help yourself!

Black dress: I have this oldie A-line V-neck dress and I either want to give it a huge twist or give it away... I still need to get ideas for this one... Again, feel free to help me out!

Burberry 2010 S/S draped skirt: I surrender. I want this skirt so bad! I'm gonna follow someone's tutorial and get a nude fabric and ask my dressmaker to do this for me (I don't have a sew machine, I'm afraid... Can't wait for the result!

That's all for now! I'd said I will have to get the fabrics this week and start working before my residences in the hospital begin, otherwise it will get tough to keep this baby here and have time to sew... :P
