Sexy little things. No, I'm not talking about Victoria's Secret new line. I'm talking about Miuccia's new collection for Miu Miu. The mini-dresses and lady-like silhouettes revisited a lot of past collections, namely in the colors (orange, for example), the materials (lace), etc. The embroideries in the last outfits were simply amazing and so was the use of black. like Prada, there was a clear concern about woman's figure, with a lot of boobs tops, curvier hips and so on. The makeup was vivid, to match the young mysterious vibe of the black garments.

This collection made me smile. Okay, I'm not being sarcastic, it really did. Christopher Kane managed to transmit all his funny thoughts about young women with a set of girly outfits, super-heroin like, with absolutely adorable circle and up-waist skirts, killer biker boots, seductive gloves, tiny little dresses, plus sized printed T-shirts, leather and a distinctive cut, in oh-so-lovely tones of blue, red, purple, military green and black. Simple, but effective, for this junior Versace line.

Although there is a considerable amount of things to say about Giles collection for fall, we simply can't ignore the fact that about 85% of his cast were models that walked Victoria's Secret runway, recently or in the past. That's right, he followed Miuccia in this trend, but even more passionately. It's nice to see girls with a bit more curves, but I have something to say: choose those girls wisely! Though most of the girls looked great, some seemed out of place, pouting their lips or such, and that is NOT HF!!! That's NOT what we look for when we see PFW! We look for classy sexiness, mystery, sensuous women... Nevertheless, this calls a lot of press, so it's a clever move! That said, clothing:

This collection was full of camels, browns, all warm colors, to help the winter. We also had a hint of orange and other strong colors. The shapes were very feminine, of course, with a lot of waist highlight, pencil skirts, etc. The hair was up, full of volume à-la-sixties, adorned sometimes with metallic interesting structures. by Stephen Jones There was a hint of childishness in bunny purses and such. There was some gorgeous dresses too!

The collection was a bit crowded, especially if you consider all the gold, silver, prints and shiny outfits, but some pieces were rather lovely, especially the chic scales dresses and the sofisticated sheep-like waistcoats! Sharon closed! Yay!
