Back to Milan again, since I've left a lot of shows. Now, we had quite a change in Ferragamo's house, with Massimiliano Giornetti (previously confined to menswear collection) taking over. I'm quite pleased about his first collection. It had a lot of camels, pastels, browns, blues and it had a british classiness vibe about it. You could see satin, tweed, suede, wool and other comfortable materials spread across coats, long and rounded skirts, knitted sweaters, waistcoats, gorgeous cloaks, boyish shorts and lady-like pants. The appointments were school-girl shoes, gentleman's hats, tiny purses, scarves and cute caps. You could also see a bit of shimmer, in metallic tones. Well, I was a fan of Ferragamo under Cristina Ortiz, so let's see how this works in the future.
